Christmas in the Country

While most Midwestern golf resorts see their season come to an end with the transition of fall to winter, that’s not the case at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. Our six-week-long Christmas in the Country celebration has become an iconic festival that makes this one of our busiest times of the year.

Christmas in the Country is a one-of-a-kind celebration that invites guests and area residents to join us at the resort throughout the holiday season. The festival features over two million lights and interactive displays throughout the resort. For a tour around the resort to see all of our decorations, hop aboard the Grand Geneva trolley for the Trolley Tour of Lights. The lighting display inside the Main Lodge is one of the Midwest’s largest and features charming decorations including Christmas trees, poinsettias and garland, as well as holiday and winter scenes with animated characters.

The true spirit of the holidays comes to life with events like Breakfast with Santa, the Elf Mail Run, and the Gingerbread House Walk. Santa’s helpers visit us daily to collect letters to Santa and deliver them to the North Pole. The Gingerbread House Walk features over 40 Gingerbread Houses created by local amateurs and professionals across several categories. Don’t miss out on special holiday dining this Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Join us for brunch and different dinner specials at our various restaurants.
