The Ultimate Girls Golf Getaway: Follow the Golf Girl Games Itinerary at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
If you're looking to gather your foursome, pack your favorite golf outfits and escape for a few days dedicated to girl-time, golf, great food and unforgettable experiences, consider this your blueprint.
When the Golf Girl Games team visited Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, they experienced the very best our destination has to offer, from championship rounds on Wisconsin's most iconic courses to spa treatments, lake cruises, chef-driven dining and late-night glow putting. Their stay became more than a golf trip. It became the perfect girls' getaway.
Whether you're planning a group golf trip, celebrating a birthday or simply looking for an excuse to spend time with your favorite gals, here's how to recreate the ultimate five-day golf vacation.
Day One: Settle In & Start the Celebration
Every memorable golf trip deserves an equally memorable arrival.
After checking into Grand Geneva, the Golf Girl Games crew eased into vacation mode with welcome cocktails in the Lobby Lounge before making their way to Wee Nip for a private chef's dinner overlooking the resort's newest golf experience. Sharing elevated comfort food, charcuterie and handcrafted cocktails was the perfect way to reconnect before the golf began.
As the sun dipped below the trees, the evening transitioned into one of Grand Geneva's signature summer traditions. The group headed onto Wee Nip for Glow Putting before ending the night watching Sunday fireworks light up the sky.
It was equal parts relaxing, celebratory and uniquely Grand Geneva.
Day Two: Wildlife, Fashion & Championship Golf
The second day balances adventure with serious golf.
Before heading to the course, the group experienced Safari Lake Geneva, where giraffes, zebras and other exotic animals roam freely through hundreds of acres of preserved landscape. It's an experience unlike anything most golfers expect to find during a golf trip and one that quickly became a favorite memory.
From there, attention shifted back to the game.
After lunch, the players arrived at the practice facility, selected new headcovers and prepared for an afternoon round on one of Wisconsin's premier championship courses. Designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, the Highlands rewards thoughtful shot-making while offering beautiful scenery throughout every hole.
The day concluded with an intimate dinner in Brissago's private dining room, where exceptional Italian cuisine and personalized service capped off another unforgettable day.
Day Three: Bucket-List Golf Meets Lake Geneva Luxury
Early mornings are part of every great golf vacation, especially when the Brute is on the schedule.
Known as one of the Midwest's most challenging layouts, the Brute delivered exactly what its reputation promises, dramatic elevation changes, demanding approach shots and a round every golfer remembers.
After lunch, it was time to trade golf shoes for spa sandals
Pedicures at WELL Spa + Salon offered the perfect opportunity to recover before the evening's adventure. Refreshed and relaxed, the group traveled into downtown Lake Geneva for a private sunset cruise across Geneva Lake before enjoying waterfront dining at Pier 290.
It perfectly captured what makes Grand Geneva different. While golf is undoubtedly the centerpiece, the surrounding destination offers just as many opportunities to create lasting memories together.
Day Four: Friendly Competition at Wee Nip
No girls' golf trip would be complete without a little friendly competition.
The Golf Girl Games crew gathered at Wee Nip for an afternoon filled with team challenges, closest-to-the-pin contests and plenty of laughter.
Designed to be approachable for golfers of every skill level, Wee Nip has quickly become one of Grand Geneva's most popular experiences. The short course encourages conversation, creativity and just enough competition to keep everyone smiling.
Whether your group includes seasoned players or friends picking up a club for the first time, Wee Nip creates the kind of shared memories that become stories long after the trip ends.
The evening wrapped up with dinner on the ChopHouse patio, overlooking another beautiful Wisconsin sunset, one final chance to relive the week's best shots, biggest laughs and favorite moments before packing for home.
