Snow Sports Lessons for all Ages

Skiing & Snowboarding Lessons In Lake Geneva

Make the most of your day on the hill by starting out with a lesson and build confidence and skills in one hour. Near Chicago and Milwaukee, Grand Geneva offers the only best ski hills, and our skiing and snowboarding lessons reflect that. Our lessons provide a safe and fun learning experience for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. We also have one hour private, semi-private and group lessons available. Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified instructors are trained on the latest skiing techniques and offer individual attention to encourage both beginners and advanced students.

Snow Cubs Lesson at The Mountain Top

Snow Cubs

A program specially designed with our youngest guests in mind. Children 3 – 6 years old are introduced to skiing or snowboarding in a controlled setting under the supervision of a professionally trained instructor. The newly opened Burton Riglet Park was designed to introduce new snowboarders to movement on the snow and teaches through a series of different stations. Children are enrolled for a single session. Students are required to wear helmets at all lessons. All Season on Saturday and Sunday.

Mountain Mites

Mountain Mites - Kid Ski Lessons

Mountain Mites is designed for children 6 – 14 years of age. Kids learn skills under the supervision of professionally trained instructors, using a specialized teaching system. Mountain Mites is fun for all! Beginners to advanced students; children spend a lot of time on the snow having a great time and becoming better skiers and snowboarders.

Mountain Mites is a series of three-week sessions on Saturdays or Sundays throughout January and February. Classes begin promptly and run 11 am – 2:30 pm. Students are placed in class based on age and ability level. Helmet use is mandatory.

Embrace winter with a day at the ski hill. Our day package includes a lift ticket, one-hour beginner group lesson and ski rental.

Must be 7 years or older to participate, advance reservations required. 
*Holidays - December 20, 2019 - January 5, 2020, January 17-20 and February 14-17, 2020.

Private lessons

Private Lessons

Interested in some one-on-one training? Progress at your own pace and focus on your specific needs during a private lesson with one of our certified team members. 

Daily: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm

  • $98 per hour
  • Additional participants*: $55 per person

*Additional participants must ski or snowboard at the same ability level and must be at least 7 years of age. Maximum of 3 participants.

Beginner Group Lessons

Are you a first-time skier or snowboarder? Then participate in a 90-minute group lesson, geared specifically toward beginners. Our certified staff will guide you through the learning process and make sure you enjoy your first run down the slopes. Must be 7 years old to participate in a group lesson.

Beginner Ski Lesson: $38 per person
Beginner Snowboard Lesson: $38 per person

All lessons begin promptly at the designated snow sports meeting place. Please allow enough time (45 to 60 minutes) to purchase lift tickets, obtain rentals and use the restroom before going to the meeting location. Due to the number of participants, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP LESSONs

Intermediate Group Ski Lesson: $45 per person 
Intermediate Group Snowboard Lesson: $45 per person 

The Intermediate Group Lessons are designed for those at least 7 years old, who can independently load and unload from the chair lift, stop and turn, and wish to explore both Green and Blue runs. 

7 days a week - 11am and 2pm (based on instructor availability)

We've teamed with Burton’s Learn to Ride (LTR) program! Burton’s Learn to Ride is designed to make learning to snowboard fun and easy by combining proven teaching methodologies with beginner-specific equipment. As part of the Learn To Ride program, we are offering specially designed equipment for beginner snowboarders (both kids and adults). Burton’s LTR teaching methodologies help new riders learn to make and connect their turns faster – making for a great first-time experience on the hill!

There is limited availability and reservations are recommended for all sessions.
