Make the most of your day on the hill by starting out with a lesson and build confidence and skills in one hour. Near Chicago and Milwaukee, Grand Geneva offers the only best ski hills, and our skiing and snowboarding lessons reflect that. Our lessons provide a safe and fun learning experience for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. We also have one hour private, semi-private and group lessons available. Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified instructors are trained on the latest skiing techniques and offer individual attention to encourage both beginners and advanced students.
All are invited to learn to ski or snowboard at The Mountain Top during Wisconsin's Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week.
A program specially designed with our youngest guests in mind. Children 3 – 6 years old are introduced to skiing or snowboarding in a controlled setting under the supervision of a professionally trained instructor. The newly opened Burton Riglet Park was designed to introduce new snowboarders to movement on the snow and teaches through a series of different stations. Children are enrolled for a single session. Students are required to wear helmets at all lessons. All Season on Saturday and Sunday.

Mountain Mites is designed for children 6 – 14 years of age. Kids learn skills under the supervision of professionally trained instructors, using a specialized teaching system. Mountain Mites is fun for all! Beginners to advanced students; children spend a lot of time on the snow having a great time and becoming better skiers and snowboarders.
Mountain Mites is a series of three-week sessions on Saturdays or Sundays throughout January and February. Classes begin promptly and run 9:30am – Noon. Students are placed in class based on age and ability level. Helmet use is mandatory. A lunch voucher will be given to each student at the conclusion of the session for individual pick up.

The Intermediate Group Lessons are designed for those at least 7 years old, who can independently load and unload from the chair lift, stop and turn, and wish to explore both Green and Blue runs.

We've teamed with Burton’s Learn to Ride (LTR) program! Burton’s Learn to Ride is designed to make learning to snowboard fun and easy by combining proven teaching methodologies with beginner-specific equipment. As part of the Learn To Ride program, we are offering specially designed equipment for beginner snowboarders (both kids and adults). Burton’s LTR teaching methodologies help new riders learn to make and connect their turns faster – making for a great first-time experience on the hill!
