Lessons for all Ages

Snow Sports School at The Mountain Top

Make the most of your day on the hill by starting out with a lesson. Build confidence and skills in one hour. Our snow sports school provides a safe and fun learning experience for skiers and snow boarders of all ability levels. One hour private, semi-private and group lessons are available. Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified instructors are trained on the latest skiing techniques and offer individual attention to encourage both beginners and advanced students.

Mountain Mites

Mountain Mites

Mountain Mites is designed for children 6 – 14 years of age. Kids learn skills under the supervision of professionally trained instructors, using a specialized teaching system. Mountain Mites is fun for all! Beginners to advanced students; children spend a lot of time on the snow having a great time and becoming better skiers and snowboarders.

Mountain Mites is a series of three week sessions on Saturdays or Sundays throughout January and February. Classes begin promptly and run 11 am – 2:30 pm. Students are placed in class based on age and ability level. Helmet use is mandatory.

Beginner Group Lessons

Are you a first time skier or snowboarder? Then participate in a 1 hour group lesson, geared specifically toward beginners. Our certified staff will guide you through the learning process and make sure you enjoy your first run down the slopes. Must be 7 years old to participate in a group lesson.

Beginner Ski Lesson: $25 per person
Beginner Snowboard Lesson: $25 per person

All lessons begin promptly at the designated snow sports meeting place. Please allow enough time (45 to 60 minutes) to purchase lift ticket, obtain rentals and use the restroom before going to the meeting location. Due to the number of participants, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm
Monday - Thursday: 12:30pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm


Intermediate Group Ski Lesson: $30 per person 
7 days a week - 11am and 1pm (based on instructor availability)

Ski and Snowboarding

Discover Skiing and Snowboarding Day Package
(for the first time skier)

Embrace winter with a day at the ski hill. Our day package includes a lift ticket, one hour beginner group lesson and and ski rental.

  • $85 per person Friday-Sunday and holidays*
  • $70 per person Monday-Thursday
  • Add $60 for a private family instructor

Must be 7 years or older to participate, advance reservations required.
*Holidays - February 16-19, 2018.

Adventure Camp

Winter Adventure Camp

Intermediate skiers and snowboarders will enjoy a fun filled supervised day on the slopes riding, sledding, and ice skating. Including lunch and hot chocolate breaks that will keep the kids warm and energized while Mom and Dad make a run or enjoy other activities Grand Geneva offers.

  • 10am-3pm, every Saturday and Sunday
  • 6-8 years old and 9-12 years old
  • $95 per person
  • Rental equipment available for an additional $10

Private Lessons

Reservations for private lessons can be made two weeks in advance by calling the Snowsports School at (262) 245-7516.

Private Lesson: $60 per hour
Additional participants: $30 per person

Additional participants must ski or snowboard at the same ability level and must be at least 7 years of age. Maximum of 3 participants.
