Wedding FAQ

how far in advance can we book our wedding?

Sooner is always better. Most couples make firm reservations between 9 to 18 months in advance. We are happy to check availability for the date you have in mind.

How much of a deposit is required?

20% of the food and beverage minimum is required as a deposit, along with the signed contract.

What type of linens, napkins and centerpieces are included?

We offer floor length white linen. Additional colors and patterns can be rented for an additional fee.

How early will the ballroom be available to set up the day of the wedding?

The room is normally ready for your florist, band or DJ to set up an average of two hours prior to the reception.

Do you offer children's menus or vegetarian options?

Yes, we have a special menu for younger guests that includes their favorites like chicken tenders, spaghetti and french fries. We also offer several vegetarian options based on your guest's dietary needs.

Will we be able to taste the selections ahead of time?

Once your wedding date has been confirmed, we will schedule a private tasting with our culinary staff. At this meeting you can taste the items that you have selected along with cake combinations and special wines.

Can we bring in our own food and beverages?

No, Grand Geneva will provide all food and beverages. We take pride in adhering to all federal, state and local regulations to ensure proper food preparation and beverage service. Exceptions are something made for certain specialty items or cultural cuisine. Please contact your Catering Manager for further details.

Do you offer any special guest room rates for our guests?

We would be happy to set up a room block for your guests at a group discounted rate for the weekend of your wedding. A complimentary suite is provided for the couple on their wedding night.

Can we have our ceremony at the resort?

Yes, we do have ceremony locations available on site. A rental fee, service fee and tax will apply.
