Jane Blair has been intrigued by The Pilates Method and its connection to radiance and grace upon her introduction in Austin, TX in 1998. What began as an interest became an obsession as her personal Pilates practice improved stroke efficiency while biking, shortened lap time when swimming, provided stamina and grace whenever dancing, and was posturally notable to family and friends.  

From Austin, Jane moved to Boulder, CO to study at the world-renowned Pilates Center. During her 20 years there, Jane received extensive training and accomplished a Master certification, offering workshops worldwide and presenting at conferences. Becoming a teacher trainer and mentor at The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO was a dream come true and allowed Jane access to grow as a movement educator and train the next generation of instructors. The integrity and mentorship provided by sister owners Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel at the world-famous Pilates Center was an inspiration and blessing and infuses Jane's teaching with gratitude and precision.

With a Social Science degree from The University of Texas, a passion for dance and a competitive swimming background, Jane enjoys combining her experiences and interests to create thoughtful and effective Pilates instruction. As a master gardener and mother of three sons, Jane cannot resist a bold, playful teaching style that embraces colorful metaphors and dynamic imagery to help guide students toward confidence and joy in their physical body.  

The one relationship we maintain throughout our lives is with ourselves, and The Pilates Method is an effective and intelligent format for synthesizing the mind-body connection.
