John’s proposal journey began with a simple request through Grand Geneva’s engagement team. From there, our team helped bring his vision to life — coordinating vendors, selecting the perfect lakeside venue, arranging flowers, champagne, marquee letters, photography, and strategically timing the evening with our complimentary Sunday night fireworks display through Labor Day. All John had to do was get Danica to the lake at the right moment. As dusk settled over the resort, John led Danica down the staircase overlooking the 18th green on The Brute toward the glowing proposal setup. He poured her a glass of champagne and invited her to stand in front of the letters before asking the big question. As she said “yes,” fireworks illuminated the night sky while a hidden photographer captured every emotional moment. The newly engaged couple then relaxed in private VIP seating, soaking in the beginning of forever together.
