Grand Geneva Resort & Spa CleanCare Pledge

The Grand Geneva CleanCare Pledge is an all-encompassing health and safety initiative created by Marcus Hotels & Resorts that incorporates industry best practices and protocols for cleanliness, sanitization, and operations of our hotels and restaurants. As needs and requirements evolve, so will our Grand Geneva CleanCare Pledge. The Grand Geneva CleanCare Pledge is comprised of initiatives including increasing sanitization, the practice of social distancing, and low-to-no contact interactions between our guests and associates.



What You Can Expect Throughout Grand Geneva Resort & Spa



Increased Sanitization
  • Public spaces will undergo frequent cleaning with extra focus on disinfecting high-touch surfaces with EPA approved products and methods. 
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the resort for your use and convenience.
  • UV cleaning devices are available at the front desk and concierge stations for sanitizing your cellphone, keys, tablets, and other small personal items.



Low-to-No Contact Interactions



  • We will offer text messaging for simple requests and inquiries. Simply verify your cell phone number upon check-in to opt-in.



What to Expect During Your Stay


Check-in

  • Credit card devices have been conveniently placed at the front desk for self-use. Our associates will sanitize all devices and touchpoint areas between uses.
  • Bell service is available for you upon request.
  • Information requested from the concierge will be provided to you via email or through single-use brochures.
  • NEW - mobile check-in and mobile keys. Download The Grand Geneva App from the App Store or on Google PlayUse this app to expedite check-in, request services, access information and activate your mobile key.


Guestroom

  • Guestrooms are cleaned prior to arrival with enhanced disinfecting and sanitizing methods that go beyond leading hospitality industry standards and Center for Disease Control guidelines.
  • Certain amenities have been removed from your guestroom, but can be delivered upon request, including the coffee machine, extra pillows, extra blankets, pens, note pads, slippers, robes, a bible, and ice buckets.
  • Snack bar and laundry/dry cleaning services will not be offered at this time.


Check-Out

  • Your folio will be emailed to you upon check-out. A printed copy will be available upon request.
  • A keycard drop box will be available near the front desk for you to deposit your keycards upon check-out.


WELL Spa + Salon + Fitness

  • We will be following new disinfecting guidelines which include frequently cleaning and sanitizing throughout the spa.
  • We will have extra disinfecting stations in the fitness center for guest use and appreciate your assistance wiping down the equipment after you use it.
  • If you have fever, chills, cough, muscle pains, headache, loss of taste or smell, or thinking you have been exposed to COVID-19, please cancel your appointment. 

Grand Geneva Ski 

  • Lift tickets will be sold online only with limited availability each day. 
  • Season pass holders get access to premier skiing availability every day of the season including no restrictions on lift availability.
  • After you purchase online, redeem your ticket at the outdoor window or indoors at the kiosk, pending social distancing availability. 
  • Skiers will enter the grounds to the right of the chalet near the sledding hill. No one will be able to enter the grounds without a lift ticket.
  • Guests are encouraged to get ready in their car upon arrival. Indoor access is reserved for those utilizing rental equipment, using the restrooms and dining in our restaurants.
  • Liftlines are configured to allow safe social distancing.
  • Skiers should self-group and load the chair with their traveling party.
  • Single chair rides will be required for nonparty access.
  • Single only lines have been added.
  • All lessons will be sold online in advance only. 
  • All lessons will meet at the designated area outside at the Ski School meeting place.  
  • Rentals will be sold online in advance only.
  • Prior night rentals pick-up encouraged.
  • Time slots for pick-up will be assigned based on preference to provide safe social distancing at all times.
  • Expect significant occupancy reduction in the rental area. 
  • Enhanced disinfecting procedures have been added for rental cleanliness. 
  • Expect significant occupancy reduction in the retail ski shop. 
  • No fitting of soft goods allowed: goggles, face masks, eyewear, clothing, etc
  • All retail sales are final.
  • Advance online reservations are required for sledding and ice skating. 
  • Sled and skate rentals must also be purchased in advance online.
  • A ticket is required to enter the sledding or ice skating area. 

Grand Geneva Golf

  • We are increasing the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces and additional cleaning of golf carts pre and post rounds with a bleach-based solution.
  • We have removed some items from the course and carts including water stations and ball washing stations.
  • Flag sticks will remain in the hole at all times. We have placed inserts in each cup to allow you to use your hand or putter to remove it from the hole without touching the flagstick or the cup.


Status Updates

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa has established the above-enhanced health and safety measures for all of our guests and associates. However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you voluntarily assume all risks related to such exposure. You must follow all posted instructions and directions from our associates while visiting the resort to help minimize the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
