Sindy Leibbrand, Wellness Warrior
Sindy leads the group fitness program at the WELL SPA + Fitness Center. Her work in the wellness and fitness industry spans more than 20 years and has included positions in personal training, workplace wellness, group fitness, corporate team building, and as an international fitness presenter. Most recently, she has focused on team building and developing the wellness RETREAT. In her current roll as Group Fitness Coordinator, she calls upon her 23 specialty certifications to create innovative and cutting edge fitness classes and schedules.
Sindy has presented at numerous workshops, including the Wisconsin School Nurse Convention, leading her workshop “Yoga as a Healing Tool for Children with Autism.” She is dedicated to youth fitness and has participated in numerous fitness events throughout the school system, from teaching kindergarten teachers Chi Gong to ease their students into nap time, to core training for football.
Laura Timmers, Wellness Warrior
Laura Timmers leads the wellness/nutrition program at the WELL Spa + Fitness Center. Her work in the wellness and fitness industry spans more than seven years and has included positions in nutritional coaching, personal training, studio owner, workplace wellness, group fitness, corporate team building, and international fitness presenter. Most recently her research has focused on team creating and developing the wellness RETREAT with a deep emphasis on nutrition - eating well.
Laura’s expertise in nutrition really pulls the wellness RETREAT experience together. She is certified as a nutritionist through Venice Nutrition® and has extensive experience educating clients from all walks of life, from the beginner to the training regimes of athletes. In addition, she holds over 10 fitness certifications, including certification by the American Fitness and Aerobics Association and a Personal Training Certification. Her experience covers a lot of ground—everything from boxing and barbell training to yoga and Zumba ®.
