WELL Spa® + Salon: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. How do I make an appointment?
A. We strongly recommend that you make your spa reservations well in advance of your arrival. The spa is very busy on weekends, as well as many weekdays, so it may be difficult to arrange for spa services on the day of your arrival. A valid credit card will be required to reserve spa appointments. All spa services are subject to availability. Prices and service selections are subject to change without notice.
Q. How early should I arrive for my spa services?
A. Please check in at the spa reception desk 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Unfortunately late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled treatments so as not to inconvenience other spa guests.
Q. What should I bring to the spa?
A. You will be provided with a robe and slippers to change into before your spa treatment. What should you wear under the robe? That is up to you. Our spa therapists are well trained in all appropriate draping techniques and will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at the time.
Q. What should I do with my jewelry and other valuables?
A. Please leave jewelry and other valuables at home or in your hotel room. The spa is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
Q. What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A. Please contact WELL Spa® a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in full charges for the scheduled service. All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.
Q. May I use my cell phone while in the spa?
A. As a courtesy to other spa guests, we ask that all electronic devices (cell phones, laptops, smart phones, etc.) be turned off and not in use while you are in the spa.
Q. May I request a male or female therapist?
A. When scheduling your treatments you may request a male or female therapist; however, we regret that we cannot guarantee this preference. All of our staff is professionally trained to ensure modesty and comfort during your stay.
Q. Should I tell anyone about any physical, medical, or allergy concerns?
A. Upon arrival to the spa, you will be asked to complete a brief health history questionnaire to assist the spa technicians in providing you the best possible experience and to assure your maximum safety and comfort. We encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect your spa experience. Spa services marked with an asterisk (*) are not recommended for guests that are pregnant.
Q. May I bring my child to the spa?
A. Please note that WELL Spa® is an adult-orientated facility. Spa appointments and use of the main locker room areas with sauna, steam and whirlpool are reserved for guests are 16 and over. We welcome our younger guests to partake in our comprehensive menu of junior spa services under the supervision of a parent; however the main locker room facilities are not available to guests under the age of 16.
Q. Where may I have breakfast or lunch?
A. The WELL Spa® Tranquil Lounge provides guests with mid-day dining in the comfort of your spa robe. A special spa dining menu is available for guests to choose from during your visit to WELL Spa®. Bridal and special occasion menus are also available.
Q. Do I need to tip the spa therapists?
A. For your convenience a 20% service charge will be added to your bill for all services and packages. This service charge will be distributed to the spa therapists and support staff who served you during your spa experience. You may adjust this service charge to reflect your level of satisfaction.
Q. How do I communicate my personal preferences?
A. We invite you to discuss any of your personal preferences with our staff prior to your spa visit. This will assist us in making your spa experience exceptional.
During your treatment, please communicate with your therapist regarding your preferences for room temperature, music selection, pressure and technique to ensure your overall comfort.
